DC Continuity Issues

So with Batman v Superman out of the way and Civil War coming up, people can't help but compare and wonder why is DC so late trying to catch up? What if I told you this is nothing different then what happened before?

In the late 80's early 90's, Tim Burton's Batman was the best comic book of all time and what did DC do to capitalize? They made cartoons! Batman the animated series is still to this day considered one of the best cartoons ever and for good reason, it simply rocks. Marvel witnessed the success of Batman and started cranking out cartoon show after show with such titles as Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk, X-Men, and Spider- Man.

Starting to sound familiar?

Marvel wasn’t satisfied with just raining down shows on the happy geeky masses, it decided to bounce around characters from show to show; Spider- Man started to appear on X-Men, and vice versa. Now it was time for DC to catch up, and catch up they did. They came out with Superman, Batman beyond, and the Justice League amongst others. In my opinion, for that time, DC did it better. Unlike Marvel they used a single character as the driving point to bring the various groups together. It worked out beautifully for those shows because they were in one shared universe. From Batman to Justice League with all other tie in shows they gave us one giant story. Marvel at the time was nowhere near this complexed, again characters had some brief appearance but that was it.

Let's jump to 2005, Marvel learning from their cartoon mistakes and the tragedy of signing away rights to certain characters decides to do what DC did, but do it with movies. We all know the story from here, Marvel creates a movie universe, make billions of dollars, branch off TV shows, and create a giant movie universe. DC's problem now is far more than catching up, but trying to keep up. First the Dark Knight movies are another universe. Man of Steel wasn't a good starting ground, it's separate from its TV shows, and I feel as if they're cramming in everything they possibly can into the next movies.

Batman v Superman wasn't the bad movie that everyone claims it to be. Did the movie have problems? Yes, but it was what we the people wanted. DC playing keep up is nothing new to us.  It’s just that now it's on a silver screen scale. Will it be as good as Marvels? No, because Marvel wears the crown. They had this plan years ago and they are a unit. What DC fans have to realize is that they need to give DC
enough time. DC will eventually be back on top with hopefully a good one character base story that they can build to a solid group film. If not, they can just make another Batman can't go wrong with that.

A New Def Jam game maybe? Roster Ideas by Corey Floyd

over the past month or so DefJam has been throwing some hints that they might make another fighting game. About two console generations ago (ps2, Xbox, GC) there was a game from EA BIG called Def Jam Vendetta. It was a wrestling style game but with hip-hop artists. DMX would literally kick your ass. Redman & Method Man was the best (and still are) tag team ever. It was a hit !! The follow-up fight for NY was a great sequel with even more artists in fighting form. Then the third one was garbage, hot garbage simmering in garbage juice. It bombed hard. Now it looks like we might get another. Bosslogic even came up with a title. Today I'm gonna come up with who should be in it. Some old, some new, some more gals, and some new dudes. 1. Missy Elliot Missy Elliot has been in the game for a long time. Somehow despite all of her hits, she has never been given the title of queen of hip-hop. In the game, she could be the queen of mean. Give her a footing style that matc

Scissor Seven on Netflix Stream or Skip

STREAM OR SKIP?   Scissor Seven is a Chinese animated series that was streamed in 2018 with the name of Killer Seven. As soon as Netflix streamed this show at the start of 2020, it became a hit globally! With the increasing popularity of Anime, Netflix has created a whole Anime library for anime fans. Scissor Seven is the first Chinese anime being streamed on Netflix. It’s a serious debate on whether to call it an anime or not, but I won’t get into that discussion for now.   Why Should You Watch Scissor Seven? If I needed to coat only a single thing in the list of why you should be watching it that would be the COMEDY! It is hilarious! Seven might not be the best killer, but that Goofy-head is the best entertainer for sure! It is a hilarious satire on the whole hero business, as we can how Seven is nothing but a Professional Goof! Scissors is his ultimate weapon on which he uses his telekinetic abilities. Every Hero needs a sidekick, here our sidekick is an angry bird with
